For Treasurer

I am running for Treasurer, as I have been on the board these past two years I have learned a lot about the various aspects of NACE New Orleans. I can continue working with all board members by being the Treasurer as well as contribute to all our monthly meetings.

My vision for NACE New Orleans Chapter is to grow as a chapter and continue to provide engaging meetings and working events. I want our chapter to be diverse in our membership and be known for having fun events!

Biography

Melissa has been in the hospitality industry for 14 years and with the New Orleans Steamboat company for 10 years. She loves creating memorable events for clients, networking with her colleagues, but most of all spending time with her dogs drinking wine!

Having been a member of NACE for five plus years, she has learned exceptional education and gained new friends within the industry. By joining the Fundraising Committee in 2018, she was very successful in gaining various beverage donors for our events. This led to her interest in joining the board as the Director of Marketing. This position has allowed her to gain new skills ranging from branding, website management and social media. Additionally, NACE has allowed her to manage a committee and work with all board members.

If you do not see Melissa in New Orleans working, festing or having a great time… she is likely on the beaches in Mexico!
